At A Dead-End?

During this year's Super Bowl, there were fewer exciting and productive commercials than I expected would be; on the other hand, the one that seemed to be creative and productive was the commerical by CareerBuilder.com.

In this commerical the advertiser had the use of metaphors that set it apart from many of the other advertisers from last week's Super Bowl. The commerical begins with a Man who quickly becomes parked in by two other cars and can't exit his own. This is symbolic for people who feel they're at a dead-end with their current job situations, what ever they may be. In addition to this, the use of animals is always a safe way to advertise, because regardless of the message, America always feels good with animals, especially if they come out as the heroes in the advertisement. Overall, this is a great advertisement.
