Should Glee Perform Original Music?

Everyone and their mom loves Glee, and if you don't I highly suggest you catch on to this phenomenon asap! On the other hand, some people feel like Glee should perform their own music. Some artists, such as Gorillaz won't let Glee cover any of their songs, which isn't smart in my opinion, due to the amount of buzz Glee has created over the past year. But their loss...

Anyway, as a viewer, I think the fun part about Glee is the fact that they take everyday songs that you rarely think about and place it into their story lines and create deeper meanings and ultimately appreciations for the song; however, if they were to use their own songs, who would be able to sing along with them? Maybe they could dedicate an episode to their own music but extending them through the season would be DAME ridiculous.

We can't let this happen!
